Roles & Responsibilities
Database Development & Design
- Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient SQL databases.
- Creating database structures that support business applications and processes.
- Ensuring data integrity, security, and performance across various database environments.
Query Optimization & Performance Tuning
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries to enhance application performance.
- Analyzing and improving database performance by tuning indexes, stored procedures, and queries.
- Troubleshooting slow-performing queries and providing recommendations for improvements.
Data Engineering & Analysis
- Developing efficient data models and schemas to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Ensuring the availability and reliability of data through advanced SQL techniques.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
- Working closely with software developers, data analysts, and business teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Providing technical guidance on best practices for SQL development and database management.
- Assisting in the documentation of database structures, processes, and optimization strategies.
Required Experience
- Total Experience. 3 to 4.5 years in SQL Development.
- Hands-on experience in designing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Proven expertise in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Strong understanding of data normalization, indexing strategies, and best practices for query optimization.
