Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software development using one or more programming languages.
  • Alternatively, 1 year of experience with an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD).
  • 2 years of experience working with data structures or algorithms, either in an academic or industry setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2 years of experience in front-end development, full-stack development, or API development.
  • Familiarity with developing accessible technologies to improve usability and inclusivity.

What You'll Do

  • Write and optimize high-quality code for large-scale software systems.
  • Design and develop solutions to improve system efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Participate in and lead design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Review code written by peers and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance and maintainability.
  • Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives for continuous learning.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high reliability and minimal downtime for Google Cloud services.

This role requires you to be highly adaptable and able to work across multiple areas, including distributed computing, AI, networking, cloud infrastructure, and security.
