We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Web Developer with live, hands-on experience in web development and a strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, XML/JSON, API integration, and ServiceNow functionalities. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge in the ServiceNow ITSM or CSM service catalog and be well-versed in ServiceNow integration capabilities. Familiarity with the TSM module will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development & Delivery. Take ownership of the development and end-to-end implementation of various modules in ServiceNow. Ensure timely and effective delivery of integrated solutions, leveraging your hands-on experience in ServiceNow App Engine and B2B integration processes.
- B2B Integrations. Apply your expertise to implement B2B integrations with customers and partners using various integration protocols, including REST/SOAP, JSON/XML. Ensure seamless communication between systems and ensure the integrations are functioning smoothly.
- ServiceNow Expertise. As a ServiceNow functional expert, demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the platform, particularly in the areas of ITSM (IT Service Management) and CSM (Customer Service Management) service catalog. Your deep understanding will aid in improving the user experience and driving technical advancements.
- Incident Response & Problem Solving. Apply your strong troubleshooting skills to respond to and resolve incidents related to ServiceNow or related systems. Analyze, diagnose, and offer technical recommendations for efficient issue resolution, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized platform performance.
- Code Quality & Best Practices. Commit to producing high-quality code while adhering to development best practices. You will play a vital role in enhancing existing applications by proposing technical improvements and contributing to the continuous evolution of the platform.
- UAT Support. Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, ensuring the system meets user requirements and functions as intended prior to production deployment. Actively engage with users and stakeholders to gather feedback and refine the application.
- Production Support. Offer third-level support for production issues within the assigned application, ensuring all problems are addressed and resolved within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA). Maintain the system’s uptime and stability by swiftly addressing issues.
- Business & Technical Knowledge Development. Continuously develop your business and technical knowledge of the applications. Your in-depth understanding of both the business process and technical aspects will be crucial for developing effective and scalable solutions.
- Project Collaboration. Participate in project review meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals. Share insights and offer recommendations for improving the development lifecycle and implementation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Core Technical Expertise. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, XML/JSON, API integrations, Java, and SQL. These skills will be essential for your day-to-day work and problem-solving in the ServiceNow environment.
- ServiceNow Expertise. Experience in ServiceNow platform development is a must, with a preference for ServiceNow certifications. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine, ITSM, and CSM is highly desirable.
- Telecom Background. A strong background in telecom systems and services will be valuable in understanding the nuances of telecom-related integration and technical requirements.
- Technical Troubleshooting. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to propose innovative solutions to complex technical issues on the ServiceNow platform, particularly within the Utah version.
- User-Centric Development. Experience in creating user-friendly, ergonomic applications that align with modern technologies like Web 2.0 and HTML5/CSS3. Focus on delivering seamless user experiences and ensuring that solutions meet user needs.
- ITIL Certification (Preferred). ITIL certification is preferred, demonstrating a solid understanding of IT service management processes and best practices, aligning with the ServiceNow platform.
