As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies to validate the new cloud-based system while ensuring full functional parity with the legacy mainframe application. You will be involved in functional, non-functional, integration, observability, data migration, and disaster recovery testing to guarantee system stability, reliability, and performance in the new environment. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch, optimizing testing processes for efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Implement automation frameworks from scratch using Java and other modern test automation tools.
- Conduct Functional, Integration, Observability, Data Migration, and Disaster Recovery testing to validate end-to-end system performance and stability.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers to define test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Perform SOAP/REST API testing to ensure smooth communication between system components.
- Conduct manual testing when needed, ensuring that critical edge cases and complex workflows are fully validated.
- Provide insights into batch processing testing methodologies and optimize test coverage for large-scale data transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in testing processes, frameworks, and tools.
- Actively contribute to identifying risks, defects, and performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth system migration.

- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, specializing in test automation.
- Proven experience in creating test automation frameworks from scratch using Java.
- Strong understanding of test approaches, methodologies, and best practices for large-scale system migration projects.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP/REST API testing, ensuring seamless system integration.
- Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies and tools.
