Wipro is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Backend Developer to join our talented development team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Hibernate.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies in cloud computing (AWS) and modern DevOps practices to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Create high-quality, reusable code by adhering to software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA, and product managers to ensure smooth execution of product features.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring quality and performance optimization.
- Write and maintain clear, concise technical documentation for backend services.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle (design, development, testing, and deployment).
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices to help improve team knowledge and productivity.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Java-based backend development.
- Expertise in Core Java, Java 8, Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate, and Microservices architecture.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, multithreading, and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Git.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
- AWS certification (Architect or Developer) is a plus.
- Exposure to Linux commands, WebLogic, and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Experience with front-end technologies (Angular/React) would be a bonus.
- Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development.
