Key Responsibilities
- Business Intelligence Solution Design. Collaborate with product and architecture owners to support the design and implementation of BI solutions addressing emerging business demands.
- Technical Planning. Engage in the technical activity planning of epics and stories, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Development & Quality Assurance. Design, develop, and perform quality assurance on BI solutions, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
- Standards Enforcement. Adhere to and enforce non-functional requirements (NFRs), architectural principles, and development standards to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Collaboration with Central Architecture Team. Work closely with the central architecture team to ensure the holistic alignment of solutions within shaping and delivery activities.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in building BI solutions with a strong focus on data visualization and reporting.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau, including dashboard creation, data visualization best practices, and performance optimization.
- Excellent VBA skills, with the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex scripts.
- Proficiency in SQL programming, including query optimization, handling large datasets, and performance tuning.
- Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and test automation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Stash, TeamCity, Artifactory, and experience with automated testing frameworks like Appium and Selenium.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, with experience in identifying and resolving issues in complex BI solutions.
- Understanding of complex architectures, ensuring scalability and efficiency in enterprise-level solutions.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Prior experience in Investment Banking or Asset Management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of SonarQube for code quality analysis.
- Exposure to performance tuning techniques for Tableau dashboards and SQL queries.
