Salesforce Project Manager

As a Salesforce Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing Salesforce projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with both technical and functional teams to ensure that project goals are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Leadership. Lead Salesforce projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational objectives.
2. Client Discovery. Participate in client discovery sessions to identify and propose the best solutions tailored to client requirements.
3. Requirements Management. Collaborate with the Technical Lead to accurately translate business requirements into technical specifications.
4. Team Enablement. Ensure the technical team has all necessary tools and resources (e.g., Sandboxes, Licenses) to start work effectively.
5. Agile Methodology. Manage scrum/agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint demos.
6. Risk Management. Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
7. Project Documentation. Prepare and manage project schedules, burn reports, status updates, and change orders.
8. Client Communication. Report project status to internal and client management teams, escalating issues as necessary.
9. Resource Forecasting. Maintain accurate forecasts for project resources in line with the approved budget.
10. Client Relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.

Qualifications

1. Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Experience. 10-14 years in the IT industry, with at least 5 years managing Salesforce projects.
3. Salesforce Knowledge. Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its product offerings.

Preferred Skills

1. Certifications. PMP certification or training in agile methodologies is preferred.
2. Leadership. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
