We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Tester with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. This role requires close collaboration with developers and other stakeholders to understand application requirements and create robust automation solutions that enhance testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to validate functional, regression, and performance testing across different platforms and applications.
- Requirement Analysis & Test Planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, ensuring comprehensive test planning and coverage.
- Regression & Functional Testing. Continuously execute automated regression tests to ensure that new features and updates do not affect existing functionalities. Perform functional, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate software quality.
- Payment Flow Testing. Conduct functional and end-to-end testing on payment systems to verify compliance, security, and performance. Ensure smooth transaction processing and identify potential issues early.
- CI/CD Integration. Work closely with developers to integrate test automation within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless deployment and continuous testing.
- Defect Management. Execute automated tests, analyze test results, and log defects with clear and detailed documentation. Work closely with developers to debug and troubleshoot failed tests.
- Performance & Scalability Testing. Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness, scalability, and stability under varying load conditions.
- Automation Framework Maintenance. Maintain, improve, and optimize the test automation framework, incorporating best practices to enhance efficiency and coverage.
- Industry & Technology Trends. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in automation testing, especially in payments and fintech.
- Code Reviews & Best Practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure automation scripts adhere to coding standards and industry best practices.
- Test Reporting & Documentation. Provide clear and concise test reports with insights into test coverage, defect trends, and areas for improvement. Recommend enhancements to optimize test automation strategies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in automation testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
- Hands-on experience with test scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps for integrating automated tests.
- Experience working with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.) and defect tracking systems.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in database testing, including writing SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.
- Experience in testing payment flows, fintech applications, or transaction processing systems is a plus.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum/Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
