Key Responsibilities
- Design visually engaging, user-friendly mobile interfaces for both iOS and Android, ensuring responsiveness and consistency across devices.
- Develop high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts clearly.
- Utilize Lottie animations to create smooth, interactive UI elements such as transitions, loading states, and button interactions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the seamless integration of animations and UI elements, optimizing performance across different mobile platforms.
- Maintain and refine a mobile-first design system, ensuring reusable and scalable UI components.
- Collaborate with UX designers to align designs with user research insights, ensuring a seamless user journey.
- Optimize mobile UI designs for a wide range of screen sizes and resolutions, including smartphones and tablets.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design choices and iterate based on feedback.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, mobile design patterns, and animation techniques, applying best practices to improve user experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a Mobile UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs for iOS and Android.
- Expertise in Lottie animations, including creating or implementing animations using tools like Adobe After Effects, Bodymovin, or similar.
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other UI design tools.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles, navigation patterns, and responsiveness.
- Experience in developing high-fidelity prototypes with interactive animations.
- Deep knowledge of Material Design (Android) and Human Interface Guidelines (iOS), ensuring designs are tailored to each platform.
- Experience in collaborating with developers, providing detailed design specs and assets to ensure proper implementation.
- Attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect UI designs that maintain consistency across different screens and devices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with animation libraries like Lottie, Framer Motion, or Principle.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript to bridge the gap between design and development.
- Prior experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools like Zeplin, InVision, or Figma for design handoff.
- Knowledge of motion design principles and interactive animations for mobile applications.
- Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design standards for mobile apps.
