Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Model Development
- Mine and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
- Assess the accuracy and effectiveness of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Develop and implement machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms.
- Optimize ML models for improved efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Work with structured and unstructured data, applying NLP, Computer Vision, and predictive modeling techniques where necessary.
Algorithm Implementation & Optimization
- Transform data science prototypes into fully functional, production-ready solutions.
- Apply state-of-the-art ML and non-ML techniques to develop innovative models and solutions.
- Define appropriate evaluation metrics and validation frameworks to assess model performance.
- Implement real-time machine learning algorithms that enhance automation and personalization efforts.
Cloud & Infrastructure
- Deploy and manage ML solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Leverage cloud-based AI/ML services and infrastructure for efficient model training and deployment.
- Utilize parallel computing and GPU acceleration for large-scale model training.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with business goals.
- Clearly articulate model predictions and insights to non-technical teams, ensuring transparency and effectiveness in decision-making.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Primary Skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or similar statistical programming languages for data analysis and ML modeling.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms such as decision trees, boosting, clustering, artificial neural networks, and more.
- Hands-on experience with popular ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, SciPy, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) for model deployment and scaling.
- Strong experience in version control systems like Git for efficient collaboration and code management.
Secondary Skills (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in E-commerce or Advertising verticals is a plus.
- Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Time Series Forecasting, and Computer Vision is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of popular NLP and Computer Vision libraries such as Spacy, NLTK, and OpenCV.
- Experience with parallel computing and GPU acceleration to optimize ML workloads.
- Hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs), fine-tuning, Generative AI (Gen AI), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
