We are looking for an experienced Informatica Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter. This role requires hands-on experience with SQL programming, PL/SQL, and Oracle database technologies, along with expertise in integrating data from multiple sources to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
As part of this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, business analysts, and system administrators, to develop scalable and efficient data solutions that align with business objectives. Your ability to work with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Kafka will be a significant advantage. Additionally, experience in dashboard creation using tools like Grafana and Power BI will further strengthen your profile.
Key Responsibilities
- ETL Development. Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target databases.
- SQL Programming. Write, optimize, and maintain complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support data processing, retrieval, and manipulation.
- Database Management. Create, modify, and manage database objects such as tables, views, and indexes based on project requirements.
- Data Integration. Integrate structured and unstructured data from various systems to provide a unified view of business information.
- Event Streaming & Logging. Work with Kafka for publishing and subscribing to events and utilize Splunk for logging and monitoring data.
- API Integrations. Implement REST API integrations to ensure seamless data connectivity across platforms.
- Data Visualization & Reporting. Develop dashboards using Grafana, Power BI, and other business intelligence tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Performance Optimization. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in ETL workflows and SQL queries to enhance overall efficiency.
- Collaboration. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable ETL and database solutions.
- Documentation & Best Practices. Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica PowerCenter development and ETL processes.
- Strong expertise in PL/SQL programming and Oracle database technologies.
- Experience in SQL programming for data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) needs.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, and Splunk (logging data).
- Proficiency in Kafka for event-based data processing.
- Familiarity with REST API integration for seamless data exchange.
- Ability to design and build dashboards using Grafana, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to debug and optimize ETL pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Netezza would be an added advantage.
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and tools.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL queries.
- Certifications in Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle Database, or Netezza.
