As a Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the client experience by crafting compelling visual content that enhances our insight-driven research and tools. Working closely with internal stakeholders and a talented in-house design team, you will transform complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals that align with Gartner’s strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Utilize effective visual communication skills to create high-end designs in a process-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Enhance research content with visually compelling graphics, ensuring clarity and engagement.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to refine designs, maintaining a balance of creativity, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Design and develop conceptual graphics, PowerPoint presentations, data visualizations, and custom illustrations for high-impact, client-facing projects.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, adhering to deadlines and coordinating with Project Managers to track scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify risks and provide innovative solutions to streamline the design process.
What You Need to Succeed
- Educational Background. Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a closely related discipline.
- Experience. At least 3 years of post-college experience in a graphic design role.
- Technical Skills. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro).
- Portfolio. A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in content visualization, data representation, and conceptual graphic design.
- Communication Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-Motivation & Teamwork. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-based environment.
- Multitasking. Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure environment.
- Data Visualization Expertise. Experience in reading, understanding, and transforming complex data into visually appealing graphics.
- Passion for Design. A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of user-centered design.
- Preferred Skills. Additional certifications in Data Visualization, UX/UI Design, or Design Thinking are a plus.
