Job Description

As a DevOps Lead, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between development, operations, and testing teams by streamlining processes, automating deployments, and ensuring seamless integration of technology across the software development lifecycle. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust DevOps frameworks, selecting the right tools and platforms, and driving a culture of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability. Your leadership will ensure smooth collaboration between teams, drive technical excellence, and provide strategic direction in managing IT infrastructure and DevOps pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

DevOps Strategy & Technical Implementation

  • Define and design the overall DevOps architecture to align with client requirements, ensuring a scalable and efficient CI/CD pipeline.
  • Identify and deploy appropriate DevOps tools and platforms that best fit the project’s needs, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Create deployment models that streamline testing, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure system stability and scalability.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure management, ensuring smooth operation of software across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, managing the application lifecycle from planning and coding to testing, release, configuration, and monitoring.
  • Optimize code and scripting processes to connect essential system components, ensuring minimal disruptions during software releases.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of applications into DevOps processes, ensuring smooth integration from planning to deployment stages.
  • Implement security best practices across the DevOps lifecycle to mitigate cyber risks and ensure data privacy compliance.

Customer Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide expert support to internal and external customers on DevOps tools, ensuring seamless integration and troubleshooting issues effectively.
  • Respond to escalations in a timely manner, diagnosing and resolving issues related to DevOps implementation across projects and modules.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of major incidents and critical issues that may impact project timelines, quality, or costs, and develop alternative solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Follow escalation procedures for unresolved issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum service reliability.
  • Share best practices, conduct knowledge transfer sessions, and encourage a culture of continuous learning within the team.

  1. Resourcing. Forecast talent needs, hire skilled professionals, and ensure the team has the right mix of technical expertise and leadership capabilities.
