We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, and CI/CD automation. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation, scalability, and security of our infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, setting up, and maintaining clusters while collaborating with development teams to enable efficient and automated deployments.

Key Responsibilities
Cluster Management & Infrastructure
- Design, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters with a strong focus on scalability, high availability, and security.
- Implement best practices for cluster monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
- Optimize resource utilization and automate scaling mechanisms to ensure smooth application performance.
CI/CD Pipeline Automation
- Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools within OpenShift environments.
- Integrate quality assurance and security scanning tools, including SonarQube, Artifactory, and other DevSecOps solutions.
- Ensure seamless deployment workflows with automated rollback mechanisms for high availability.
Containerization & Orchestration
- Work closely with developers to containerize applications and manage container lifecycles using Docker.
- Orchestrate and deploy microservices-based applications using Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Ensure secure image management and container registry best practices.
Monitoring, Security & Troubleshooting
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks or vulnerabilities.
- Implement security best practices for containerized environments and cloud-native applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to performance, networking, and application failures.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation
- Utilize Ansible and Terraform to define and manage infrastructure as code.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python and Bash.
- Ensure consistency and efficiency in infrastructure provisioning.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to developers for deploying and scaling applications.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including configurations, deployment processes, and system architecture.
- Work cross-functionally with Dev, QA, and Security teams to ensure smooth software delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitbucket, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash for automation and infrastructure management.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix administration, including shell scripting and system configuration.
- Strong grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH) and security best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible for automating infrastructure provisioning.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and best practices for cloud-native application deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Helm, Istio, or service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security, RBAC, and IAM policies.
- Understanding of GitOps methodologies with tools like ArgoCD.
- Exposure to serverless computing and container security tools.
