We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Administrator with expertise in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will possess Microsoft AZ-104 certification, proficiency in Power BI, and experience in automation using PowerShell and Azure tools. Additional expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure CLI, and scripting will be highly beneficial.
The Azure Solutions Architect Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex solutions within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring they meet business needs while adhering to industry best practices and standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
Azure Deployment and Maintenance
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and databases.
- Implement and support networking, databases, software, and server management within the Azure cloud environment.
- Ensure seamless integration and availability of cloud and hybrid resources.
- Perform routine cloud infrastructure health checks and optimizations.
Architecture and Design
- Design and implement enterprise-level cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Develop architectural blueprints for integrating core infrastructure technologies to support business applications.
- Conduct risk assessments and suggest improvements for existing and new technology deployments.
Security, Compliance, and Monitoring
- Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.
- Establish security best practices for data protection, access management, and network security.
- Proactively monitor Azure and on-premise resources to ensure integrity, availability, and performance.
- Respond to security incidents and compliance audits as required.
Automation and Optimization
- Utilize automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Terraform, and Ansible to streamline operations.
- Develop scripts for automated provisioning, configuration management, and patching.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and ensure cost efficiency through automated scaling and monitoring solutions.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Provide level 2 and 3 support for Azure environments, diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Escalate critical incidents as needed and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
- Ensure timely communication with stakeholders regarding system status, changes, and issue resolutions.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge base articles for future reference.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with application development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
- Assist in planning and executing validation testing, production readiness assessments, and change management.
- Establish and enforce standards, tools, and processes to maintain consistency and compliance across Azure environments.
- Keep abreast of new Azure technologies and industry advancements to drive innovation within the organization.
Customer Communication and Incident Management
- Ensure timely resolution of customer-reported issues, providing clear updates on status and resolution plans.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding impending changes, maintenance windows, and outages.
- Develop and maintain internal IT process documentation to streamline support operations.
Continuous Improvement and Learning
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Azure administration, automation, and security.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
- Participate in training and skill development programs to enhance technical knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified. Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) is required.
- Strong expertise in Power BI for cloud-based data analytics and visualization.
- Advanced skills in automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and scripting.
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Proficiency in Azure security, networking, and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and application-related issues.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
