How to get success count, failure count and failure reason when testing rest webservices in c#

i'm working with rest api and i have a query

count the number of times success runs, failure runs and if code fails then send a email.

Hi, If you are using ajax then you can use "done()" and "error()" callback methods to identify success and error count . Ex- var successCount=0; var errorCount=0; $.ajax({ type: "GET" , url: 'url' , dataType: 'json' , data: {}, error: function (xhr, error){ //error reason can be seen in "error" object errorCount = errorCount+1; }, success: function (data){ successCount = successCount +1; } });

Hi Ritu, The given code will return only success or error count with the response, you can call the api multiple times using a loop and can store the counts in a global variable.
