Windows application exe file creation with database

Question

Hi, I created one simple windows application with having 2 forms .. where , in first form i can add student details like (Usn , name , and department) and in other form i can able to see the student details in a datagridview. I am using sql server 2014 for backend. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I also created a setup file for this application ,but when i install in other pc that time if i add new student details it is giving sql error. How to fix this problem i want to install in other syatem also where i will not install sql server , Any procedure is there to over come this problem or any way... plz ...

you can create as setup file with Database but before creating setup file first you need to put your data base inside debug folder and change connection string server to this path Environment.CurrentDirectory+"\"+ database name then execute your project if it works perfectly then follow below link to create a setup file. http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/article/creating-setup-file-for-desktop-application-using-visual-stu/ your database(.mdf) file can be added to Application Folder as explained in above like (all your project required files you can have here)

You are saying you want to use sql server but will not install sql server. Obviously, sql server should be accessible. If you don't want to install it on that machine, then it should be available somewhere on the network! If you want it locally only, you may have a look at LocalDB. That might be suitable to your requirement.
