Why do we need Destructor when we have Garbage collector.c#

Garabge collector does the automatic collection and why do we need to specify externally a destructor. And what is destructor and use of destructor.

I hope you have the knowledge of what a managed and unmanaged resource is. Yes, the garbage collector does the automatic collection. But, GC just collects only the managed objects which are not reachable. And it is not mandatory to specify the destructor all the time in your classes and even it is not recommended to always have a destructor. A destructor should only be used when your class uses expensive unmanaged resources that must be cleaned up when your object goes away. It is recommended to use the destructor with IDisposable pattern.

Hello Hemalatha, You want to know about destructor so up to my knowladge destructor is a special methods that methods contains a code of clean up for the particular object. You can not call them explicitly in your source code as they are called implicitly bythe garbage collector. If i can say then in C# they have same name as the name of class name witch is preceded by the sign like "~".
