Whether to learn sharepoint 2013 or Hadoop?

I am working as SharePoint developer since 1 yr now i want to learn advance technologies , I want to now how is job offers for sharepoint. If I learn Hadoop now Is there any advantages now. Please give me clarity whether to learn sharepoint or going to Hadoop for better future and career growth.

Learning new and latest technology is always helpful, but I guess you have spent a little time in SharePoint as per your experiance you have mentioned. Rather than giving advice I would like to tell what I will do if i am your place. I am working as SharePoint developer since last 1.5 years and till now i am exploring new and new in SharePoint. So by this I can say that SharePoint itself a big and vast technology in itself. Also no doubt SharePoint has bright future if I know each and every concept of SharePoint. So in this case I would like to explore SharePoint more and learn Hadoop side by side.

I know virtually nothing about either of these, however, what I am almost certain about is that they are way diverse from each other. The reason I am pointing this out to you is, I believe, both of them need diverse ways of thinking to be master in it. I am not been able to give an example, but while all are engineering streams, the way mechanical engineer things is way different than a chemical engineer or an electrical engineer. The principles, underlying philosophy, the approaches used to resolve issues are all diverse. Having said that, I am certain that human beings are quite capable of grasping everything that they aim to master.
