Where we need to place script & style tags when we go for master pages

Question

Dear all,

I am using master page for my website.

& for child webform i need to use script tag & style tag for using JQuery datepicker.

So I am trying to place all the script & style tag in Head part of master page but its not coming.

Can anybody tell me what is the problem with this?

Hi You can create a another content place holder which includes the CSS and Javascript which common to all pages. Example In master page you can do something like that. ID = "Stylesheets" runat = "server" > rel = "stylesheet" href = "/css/master.css" type = "text/css" /> In child pages you can override CSS using this content place holder. Hope this helps. Thanks

Hi, I tried alot with above options but i m unable to get it.. actually i need to place JQuery Datepicker in child form. If i ll not integrate with master page then its working fine. If i go for master page the issue begins.. Hi, Including in the master page is not an issue. It will render for all the child pages. But i guess the problem with the url. this may solve your issue. ' type="text/javascript">

It's ok needs to keep on head tag of master page just make sure that the link you provided in master page is correct or you can refer this link and script on child page also.
