Whate else do I need to write VB apps?

A while back I wrote some Visual Basic programs and now I want to write some desktop apps for a small business in VB.  The apps will require  somewhat complicated GUIs and they'll connect to an MS Access database and a MySQL database.  I have MS Access and MySQL and I know how to get at tech documentation for all of these tools including the VB.  I plan to get Visual Studio, Standard Edition, which contains VB so I think that's all I'll need to do this project.  Is there anything else I'll need?
