Well My Friend, Instead of Reading all this long articles i Will Simply Explain you what is Web Service in C# and Why it is used :) Web Service is Special Kind Of Computer Code that is Implemented on Any Web Server Which Retrieve the Data From Database and Give it to Requester of Data ... Now you will have Question "We can have database also to get data Directly from web server then why web service ???? well , Database 's Data Can be retrieved by only specific kind of Computer OS Like if We Use SQL Server Database then if Requesting Computer is Unix then it will difficulty to get data from Windows Machine that contains the SQL Server Database because the Unix Machine Dont know what is SQL Server .. so WebService Transfer the data in Format which is understandable by all Type of OS (Unix,Windows,Solaris ...etc ) it transfers data in XML Document Format ...so Every type of Computer can use the Data which is in Database :) :) if my answer Helped you to understand Web Service in C# then Check " Do you like this answer " :)
