Note that if you use ASP.Net Core then your website can use a Linux host. ASP.Net Core Blazor Webassembly can be used to generate what is called a static website. There are various hosts that will host static websites for free. Cloudflare Pages is one host that will host static websites for free. My simplesamples.info website is currently doing that. You can push your code to GitHub and have it automatically deployed to Cloudflare. GitHub Pages is another way to host websites for free but due to a bug (it might be fixed now) in GitHub Pages ASP.Net Core Blazor Webassembly applications in GitHub Pages do not support navigation perfectly. If you store your project in a repository (such as GitHub) then it should be easy to switch to a different host when you need to or want to. I have one website in Netlify.com for free. You can also use Netlify to automatically deploy your application's repository to it. Azure is certainly a reasonable possibility. The main reason I do not use it is that the billing is confusing and I had problems figuring out what Azure product corresponded to what I was paying. I have a Linux VM with Nginx that I have installed and configured myself that I use for hosting. I recommend avoiding GoDaddy. They support non-developers better.
