web application for converting anyvideo file format to mp4

Question

hi i have been trying to make web application where user can upload any video in anyformat but the time they save it it should convert to mp4 format....can anybody help and i canot use any plugin or flash..... just want to convert it and shld be in playable format for html video tag..

You can use the LEADTOOLS multimedia SDK to convert almost any type of video files to MP4 after you upload the file using this code: convertCtrl.SourceFile = UploadedVideo; convertCtrl.VideoCompressors.H264.Selected = true ; convertCtrl.AudioCompressors.AAC.Selected = true ; convertCtrl.TargetFile = "Output.mp4" ; convertCtrl.TargetFormat = TargetFormatType.ISO; convertCtrl.StartConvert(); You can then provide the output MP4 for download or create a media stream using other features in the toolkit. If you want to stream it directly without the user’s need to download the resulting file, you could use the LEADTOOLS Media Streaming server.
