Web API : POST method ?

Question

Hi , I am very new to the web API . I want to Insert into Db ( mysql database ) using POST Method . How can achieve it . Provide me example code with Well worked code. It could be simple insert function using Web api (POST) . Thank in Advance , Karthik K .

@Rajani Kanth , Anyway thanks for the speedy response . I have following doing the same example , I unable to insert through it , In form i guess is the issue .I cant debug too. Because it in the Front end design code that ajax call ..
