Validation(HTML5) : Element 'app-root' is not supported.

Question

I am integrating Angular 4 with ASP.NET WebForm. Created an angular folder using ng new AngularApp command and set default.aspx page as startpage. I have included tag inside Default.aspx page to call angular page, but it's not working for me. I am getting Validation (HTML5): Element 'app-root' is not supported(mentioned in screenshot) Please help me out how to initialize angular in ASP.NET WebForm?

Hii Sanwar, Thanks, the given solution is related to WebApi. I have created the webforms and I want to intialize angular page from webforms(Default.aspx) by including . Is there any way to initialize angular form webform? Please help me out.

Hii Rajeesh, Thanks, but the given solution on StackOverflow is for mvc not for webform. Actually the problem is, aspx page doesn't recognize the HTML5 tag, that's why it doesn't redirect to the angular page.

HI Sanwar, I have checked the url which you have given but its only working for mvc not for .aspx page. Here, I have app-root which is not rendring, I have included all the related js file like vendor, polyfills, main, runtime but its not supporting. Same thing is working with .cshtml page. Please help some suggesstions. Thanks
