Uses of MVC

I actually can't understand what are the applications of ASP.NET MVC..What is it's actual uses??

The ASP.NET MVC is a framework for building web applications efficiently. MVC (not ASP.NET MVC; simple MVC) is generally an architecture for software development, in which the Model (data), Views (the UI) and the Controllers (actuall business-logic; the back-end code) is divided into three sections to be maintained seperately. ASP.NET uses same configurations, and you can distribute all of these three different parts into different sections. To handle and make them better efficiently, without messing things around. The models for your data are seperated from the actual code, so that user doesn't actually get a chance to interact with data; provides a security layer for your application. The Views of your application are also left seperate, so you can allow your front-end team to work with the HTML representation of the application. Finally, the back-end code of the application is also seperate so that your development team can manage the application's code seperately, so that you can manage that back-end of your application seperately. This would help you in many ways. Also, there are some other functions and features that ASP.NET allows you to have, which include the Routing, that allows you to define custom URLs in your application.
