Use value from combo box to another form c#

one more option is add below line outside the class in form 1 public static string cmbval { get; set; } and in button click of form1 write below code cmbval=metroComboBox1.Text; then in form to where you want combobox value there you can just write Form1.cmbval

hi, please explain what do you wanted to do exactly, here in your code there is no combobox only, and provide your second form details where you wanted to pass this combobox value, you can pass value in counstructor of second form for example string cmbValue; public void Form2( string _cmbValue) { cmbValue=_cmbValue; } and when you call this form2 you can pass combobox values as below Form2 frm= new Form2(combobox1.SelectValue); frm.Show();
