Table Named not present in the EDM

Question

Entity framework cannot detect or recognize newly created table in database eventhough,the table has been updated in the EDM and can be seen present in the EDM. when I fetch the table information , there is an error that says the table named cannot be found. Any idea?

You need to required add atleast one identity column with integer field then it will reflect as I have checked and facing same problemn. After updating and adding column with identity column you can go to model designer and right click and then select update model from browser in the designer. Select the table and it will reflect. You can check with adding primary key and some records in the table also. Hope this will help you.

Hi agyekum Essien, After updating the Edmx by the option "update model from database". Please build the solution again. If still not works. Clean the solution and build it again. If it helps, Mark it as answer else come up with a query. Thank you.
