How to add SPACES to a string variable

I presume that you wish to implement predefined format for your string format, something sismilar to HTML tag. In .Net environment you can precede the string literal(s) with "@"....wihtout quotes. like - using System; namespace LearnThreads { class Thread_App { public static void Main() { string str = @"Hello this is how i would implement spaces" ; Console .Write(str); } } }

Hi see this eg: string s1 = "VM"; s1 = s1 + " "; ~ or ~ string s1 = "VM"; string s2 = s1 + " ";

Hi Irene, There is no special method to do that. You can simply add a space. string a = " "; string b = "abc" + a + "xyz"; Or you can use PadLeft, PadRight functions.
