SQL Server Query to select items which not in a listbox

Question

ID Name 1 Jose 2 Jayan 3 Jinas 4 Jasmin I have a table in sql server. And I made a ListBox in windows Form application. 1 2 4 I want to select names of which ID not shown in the ListBox by using 'not in' statment. Please help

@Mohammad You can either use linq query or use for loop for this var result = string . Join ( ", " , listbox1 . Items . Select ( i => i . Value )); Then pass result in your query Select * from tableName where Id not in (result);

Use NOT IN clause Select * from tableName where Id not in (1,2,4); Where 1,2 and 4 is the listbox items

Sir my code is as follows, select name from tblstudent where ID not in ' " + listBox1.items+" '; But this is not working. Can you suggest another one please...??? My proble is about ListBox not about sql query
