We have two server farm 1.Application with search 2. Wfe in sharepoint 2016. We have configured the search service in application server, so all search related configurations have been done in app server including the search query. If we create any web application under app server sharepoint search works fine but if we create any web application under wfe server then search doesn't work,cannot connect to the search query then get the time out error. Can someone please help how to make search work in sharepoint 2016???
