Session level connection object for each website user.

Hi,

I need to create a session level connection object. The situation in like that, there can be multiple users loging in simultaneously. I need a different connection object for each user and want to maintain the count of the connection objects.

Platform: ASP.Net,C# 2005

Please help.

Consider the application as a product and maintaining licensing information with it. If 10 license is issued, then the application will allow maximum of 10 users simultaneously. If 1 user logged-of then his/her session connection will close and now application will allow 1 user to logged in. I cann't maintain the no. of users and details in the web.config file. It should be in the database. For this purpose, I need to maintain session level connection for each user.When a user logs in, the application should check the database for license, if license is available then app should start a new session level connection for that particular user.

Hi, as per i know, that Asp.Net Maintains the unique session Id for each and every request, so you can get the value through Session.SessionID .

Can you please explain bit more about the flow. Though I believe you can handle it by defining different value for different user in web.config itself and based on the settings you can play with the application.
