Send email using gmail smtp server

i am not able to send email from my application (using c#). i am getting an exception SMTP Email Error: Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed

I am getting data from database exporting in excel and sending the excel file through email.. but unable to send the file. it is showing err: Failure sending mail(inner Exception :unable to read data from the transport connection net_io_connectionclosed. gmail). please help me solve the issue.. would be a great help.. It is a property of SMTP Class EnableSsl – Specify whether your host accepts SSL Connections (Gmail: True) If you will have to create an object of SmtpClient class and allow EnableSsl SmtpClient client = new SmtpClient(); client.EnableSsl=True;

Hi dear, Please use it I think that you will not enable Ssl if you are not enable it .
