SELECT query based on results of CheckedListBox.

Question

Dear Members, In my C# WinApp, I am creating a CrystalReport of employees name and address as label print. 1. A DropDown List that has name of cities... 2. I select a city (e.g. Vadodara) and the list of names of employees from Vadodara displayes in a CheckedListBox. 3. Now I want to write a code (in a button's click event) that fetches all the employee names and address from the database (displayed in the CheckedListBox) and make a CrystalReport. I am confused with the SELECT query that what I should write after WHERE EmpName=(CheckedListBox Item)? Thanks Mayank Jani

I have prepared one example for you, please try it. string empNames = "" ; foreach (ListItem li1 in ch11.CheckedItems) { if (li1.Selected == true ) { empNames += ",'" + li1.Text.Trim() + "'" +; } } // Output like this ,'raj','karan' if (empNames != "" ) { empNames = empNames.Substring(1); // Output like this 'raj','karan' } // .....WHERE EmpName in (empNames) // ex. .....WHERE EmpName in ('raj','karan') I hope this is helpful to you. Hii Bhavesh, Thanks for your reply. But I do not find... ListItem in foreach loop!! Kindly check it once. please note that I am using Windows Application in C# Thanks Mayank Jani Hiii I have searched some more on net and I found the solution as below... string EmpNm = ""; foreach (object items in chlbxDrSelection.CheckedItems) { EmpNm = EmpNm + items.ToString() + ","; EmpNm = EmpNm.Substring(0, EmpNm.Length - 1); } ...but this code gives name like Anil, Biren, Chandan... etc. this string does not work for the query because I want to fetch row for each employee so, I have to run the loop for each employee. so, how to use all the names for forloop to fetch records of all employees shown in the CheckedListBox and then display in the Crystal Report??
