Searching the database in vb.net

Hi How to write the code to enable the search function through the database in VB.NET? I.E. I have a combo box of car brand. If in that combo box i choose BMW it will then pass it into the search function and search through the database which in this case is car.mdb and return all the matching brand BMW. Please reply ASAP thanks
