What is the scope of asp dot net for fresher now ? Is this a good technology for start as a career?

These are the top used languages in the world 1.Java script 2.Python. 3.Java 4.C# (Asp.Net) 5.C++ obviously , c# is favourite of many companies and in India now almost all companies higher employees as .Net developer (Infosys , TCS, wipro etc) obviously in india the selection process for fresher starts from their academic results for example the above mentioned companies only allows to attend their interviews when you have 60% aggregate marks in 12th and B.Tech however after gaining some experience , academics score doesn't matter. c# is used for game development , desktop app, mobile app and ofcourse web app , so scope is not less.
