save input fields

return RedirectToAction("Index"); Hello, i have the follow problem: View1 with different input fields so for example in addition, it also has address fields wich can be entered or queried in an database via button=>open an other View2 queried an via adressid i fetch the adress->go back to View1 return RedirectToAction("Index"); The problem how i can i save the input text in the fields wich i have insert befor Thaks for your help

In a multi-step form we usually store each step in DB with a flag (IsAllSteps done) in the next step we do the same and if someone goes to previos step we retrieve data back from DB based on UserId and StepId.

Thank you for your help i understand how TempData work, but i think that not solve my problem: i have a form with open by the methode create. different fields for example input fields1 input field2 input name -> button for fetch adress for input field 3 - 5 now how can i take field1 and field2 in a TempData (post) input lastname input streat input etc.. transfer data input lastname, streat etc. from my Adressdb input field6 etc. Save Data how can i post the fields so i cant take the fields in a TempData?
