reverse an array

Question

Hi

I try to reverse sort values in an array, but this code doesn't work. No error, but this is what i get: 4 85 6 99 etc ...

What's wrong with my code?

Array.Reverse(array); // Reverse Sorting array value

If yo want to reverse the sorted array then first sort and reverse. You are right.

Hi, You can do like below, I think you have not printed values, int[] array = { 2, 11, 15, 1, 7, 99, 6, 85, 4 }; Array.Sort(array); Array.Reverse(array); // Reverse Sorting array value Console.WriteLine(String.Join(',', array));

Hi thanks for repying. 1) Jignesh Kumar : i get the same as i got: 4 85 6 99 7 1 ... Did you try this yourself? 2) Ganesan C and Md Sarfaraj : i also get the same as i got: 4 85 5 99 7 1 ... Please, try yourself. Now, If i add this between line 82 and 83: Array.Sort(arr); then it works!! So my conclusion is: first sort the numbers, then take the reverse of those numbers. Do you agree with this? Thanks
