Retrieve userid from a url and store in a variable

Question

I have a web url.The url is not a SharePoint site .The url displays the results of all user ID that are added to the Active Directory group. I get the results in the below array of string format RND/1 RND/2 How can I fetch the user ID and store it in a variable using getdatafromurl /jquery/javascript.

My url is in format : https://xyz.rnd/api/ADService/GetMembersinGroup?adGroup=testWhen i enter this url in browser i get the results in this format ArrayOfString xmlns String domain\id /string /ArrayOfString

please share how does your your look like. does it really contain comma(,) in it?

You can read query string parameter and then split it by "/" in order to fetch ids. var url_string = "http://www.example.com/t.html?id=RND/1,RND/2" ; //i assume this is your url formal var url = new URL(url_string), queryStringValues = url.searchParams.get( "id" ), alphaNumericIds= queryStringValues.split( ',' ), ids=[]; alphaNumericIds.forEach(item, function (){ ids.push(iteam.split( "/" )[1]); }); console.log(ids);
