Regarding to clear history of previous web page

Dear All,

I am facing a problem in mvc that when a user fill the form and go to the next Page when he click on back button from Browser he able to see his previous data how i resolve it so that he will not able to see that .. Or Clear all the fields of previous web Page..

Hi Punit, As per your requirement, you need to disable caching concept of browser inside code: Step1: Add a class file(DisableCache) and use below code: public class DisableCache : ActionFilterAttribute { public override void OnResultExecuting(ResultExecutingContext filterContext) { filterContext.HttpContext.Response.Cache.SetExpires(DateTime.UtcNow.AddDays(-1)); filterContext.HttpContext.Response.Cache.SetValidUntilExpires(false); filterContext.HttpContext.Response.Cache.SetRevalidation(HttpCacheRevalidation.AllCaches); filterContext.HttpContext.Response.Cache.SetCacheability(HttpCacheability.NoCache); filterContext.HttpContext.Response.Cache.SetNoStore(); } } Step2: Apply it in global or in controller level: Global level In Global.asax add below code: public static void RegisterGlobalFilters(GlobalFilterCollection filters) { filters.Add(new DisableCache()); } Controller Level Add blow code in your controller: [ DisableCache ] public class ControllerBase : Controller, IControllerBase As per your requirement you need to use either global or controller level.
