Regarding Contract and Notice Period

Question

Is giving notice period of 2 month is compulsory after already completing 4 months more than my contract bond? And if yes then, Am i eligible to get Regional festival / Annual / Monthly leave that other employees are getting right now as my Orgnaization's leave policy ? i already completed my 1.10 month notice period and they are saying that i can't get any leave this month i didn't taken so much leave in my 1.5 year working period( hardly 15 days ) and i worked all saturday and even some time sunday and late night but still they are behaving like this. i want to know that they are doing it legaly or i can also take 2 days monthly and festive leave( 3 days in november ) as per our leave policy ?

Sanwar has explained correctly. It depends on company's leave policies. Also Everyone need to serve notice period of months as given in employment contract. So completing your contract tenure is actually a compulsion but you have to official give notice to employer that you want to leave the organisation. It depends on employer only if they can relieve you from your roles and responsibilities even before 2 months. We must have to respect policies for regulation purpose. So if you have worked so hard, you can request them for early release but you have no right. It will just depend on business need and your relationship with organisation if they think for early release. At the end organisation is also on a bit loss while loosing an employee. So try negotiate politely.
