Regarding Angular 5 and ASP .Net MVC project deployment.

Question

Dear All, I have devloped one small project using Angular 5 and ASP .Net MVC 5 with Rest Api. I have two doubts while deploying my project on web server those are as follows :- 1. I am not able to use command ng build --prod If am try to use that command then I am getting errors like I have few variables defined in my environment.ts. 2 If I am try to use web.config in my Angular 5 project for URL rewrite purpose then I can refresh my Angular project but because of that I am not even able to login because of controller. After uploading I am using Default website in that physical path is set to Angular 5 project and created a folder for ASP .Net project physical in server settings. Please let me any easy solution to overcome on above two problems. I am asking this again and again because I don't have that much domain knowledge. Any suggestion will be acceptable. you have to create a folder eapp or alias name in ASP .Net project code and paste all file of dist folder hare ... then your url will be domainname.com/#/eapp

For you're first issue: Try ng build --prod --c=dev.

Hello gajendra Sir, Okay I'll give alias name to Angular project. After that do I need to use URL rewrte ? if yes then how can do that because it make affect to my ASP .Net project code. How can I overcome on my second problem? Thank you for your valuable reply.

Hello Gajendra Sir, I have done exact stpes whatever you have give. Just a small change is there and i.e. I have not given alias name for my Default Web Site. Is is necessary to give alias name to base href ? Thank you for your reply.
