hi, The process of getting the metadata from modules/assemblies. When .NET code is compiled, metadata about the types defined in the modules is produced. These modules are in turn packaged as assemblied. Reflection is the process of obtaining information about types (classes, structs etc) and their various members (methods, properties, fields, events, attributes etc) at runtime. It is done by examining the metadata which is generated by a .NET compiler. As well as the System.Type class, the various classes used by reflection are contained in the System.Reflection namespace.
