Read Excel File in VS Code using c#?

Question

If someone could help me by providing me with a step by step process of reading an Excel file using the programming language c# on VS Code( NOT visual studio IDE) It will be really helpful to me and others as this is a totally new working environment for me. Thanks.

Hello Damn Vs code is useful for designing.VS Code only supports a limited set of project types (primarily .NET Core). For full .NET project support, we suggest you use Visual Studio Community. Hi, I had an experience. Firstly, creat a VS code project and open the xxx.csproj file to add the folllowing code. Secondly, input "dotnet build" command at the terminal window of Visual Studio Code. It will install the Spire.Xls package. And then you can add the folllowing code in Program.cs to load, read the Excel file and do other operations on it. Hope this could help you.
