Query related to angular setup?

Question

I new to Angular.I want to install angular on my machine.

1 : Installed Node.js on my machin and check with command node -v

2: Which command shall I use for angular setup
1 : npm install -g @angular/core @angular/cli
2 : npm install @angular/core @angular/cli
3: npm install -g @angular/cli

3: Navigate to project folder in command prompt
and run
ng serve

4 :How to identify that it is run sucessfully or not?

5 : Shall I go with normal command propmt or visual studio command prompt?

HI You can follow this way. 1. Install node.js 2. command: node v The system confirms that Node.js is installed 3. npm v To check version of NPM 4. Install Typescript (optional) - npm install -g typescript 5. Install angular CLI - npm install -g @angular/cli Creating project 1. new ng ProjectName 2. Navigate to ProjectFolder 3. ng serve --open This will open in browser as http://localhost:4200/

follow below steps 1. Install Node.js from offical site. 2. from any cmd prompt npm install -g @angular/cli 3. from any cmd prompt ng new MyFirstProject 4. run project cd MyFirstProject ng serve if all steps completed without any issue, then your configuration is already correct.

Hi, Please follow the following article. https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/angular-cli-angular-project-setup/ You can run your application on any command prompt directly from cmd or from visual studio. Once you run the application doing ng serve command you will get the result on the command prompt stating your application is running for eg. on localhost:4200. so you can open the same URL on the browser.
