Pick file from a source location(.net) and push to Azure blob

Hi Team,

I have to build .net console application in such a way that i need to pick file from source and push to Microsoft Storage Explorer(BLOB).

Could you please provide sample console applications to achieve this task.

If you are already having IFormFile then no need of file location you can try with one of the overload method of blob.Upload(@"D:\" + systemFileName); to upload stream insead of file location. using (var data = files.OpenReadStream()) { blob.Upload(data); }

Hi Yateesha, In File location I have given path of my local machine BlobClient blob = container.GetBlobClient(systemFileName); blob.Upload(@"C:\Users\Radhika\Desktop\"); //File location I am getting below error : Exception User- Unhandled : System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path is denied. For you case you can try with different library - Azure.Storage.Blobs But you may need Account Name and Account Key along with SAS Connection String If you have Account Name and Account Key then follow the below steps Step 1: Install Azure.Storage.Blobs library Step 2 : Use below code with your connection string and Key Uri url = new Uri("SAS Connection String"); StorageSharedKeyCredential storageSharedKeyCredential = new StorageSharedKeyCredential("AccountName", "AccountKey"); BlobContainerClient container = new BlobContainerClient(url, storageSharedKeyCredential); BlobClient blob = container.GetBlobClient("FileNameWithExtenstion"); blob.Upload(@"FileLocation");

I am using SAS Connection String in Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer and Visual Studio ASP.Net Core Web API .Net 5 framework Connection string: "BlobConnectionString": "*https://storagesample.blob.core.windows.net/*", "BlobContainerName": "*import*" When i tried to upload csv file it is throwing error at below line: CloudStorageAccount cloudStorageAccount = CloudStorageAccount.Parse(blobstorageconnection); System.FormatException: No valid combination of account information found. Could you please let me know which File Location we need to give either local path OR blob ?
