Pdf document is not downloading using copy link url

Question

Hi all I have used below query string (download=1) to download all documents but pdf is not downloading with the same query string. https://sample.sharepoint.com/:b:/r/sites/Samplesite/SampleLibrary/sample.pdf?download=1 Thanks in advance!

For sharepoint: Option 1: Use the format: https:// .sharepoint.com/sites/ /_layouts/download.aspx?SourceUrl= E.g. https://crescent.sharepoint.com/sites/legal/_layouts/download.aspx?SourceUrl=https://crescent.sharepoint.com/sites/Legal/Documents/Compliance-Manual.pdf When a user clicks on the link It downloads the file instead of open! Option 2: Use to Copy link Option to get the link to document and append &download=1 Just navigate to the document library where your documents are located Select the file and click on Copy link button in the ribbon >> Copy the URL and append &download=1 to it. E.g. https://crescent.sharepoint.com/:w:/s/legal/ECm5WU0-3ohOo2n8-q5GQG4Bar33Prunsg4g9QvAPu3cRQ?e=UPMiz5&download=1 https://www.sharepointdiary.com/2020/05/sharepoint-online-link-to-document-download-instead-of-open.html

You can try this You should be able to add the query string parameter `Web=0' https://sitename-my.sharepoint.com/personal/vignesh/Documents/SomePresentation.pptx?Web=0

Hi Satya I have used download=1 with copy link url it's working fine for all the documents expect pdf for the pdf and png files its opening instead of downloading. The copy link url will be like below for me https://sample.sharepoint.com/:b:/r/sites/Samplesite/SampleLibrary/sample.pdf
