Pass the Value to Class Library

Hi All, I have developed a .NEt windows form application and a class library Namespace for Form1 - TestSetup Namespace for Class1.cs - TestClass I have a textbox in my Windows form application, whatever the text in the textbos I need to pass it the calss library. So I did like this, using TestSetup ; Form1 form = new Form1(); string installationpath = form.installationpath; string outputpath = installationpath; Calling the class from the Windows form as following TestClass sh = new TestClass(); TestClass.GenericResult result = sh.AddVPrinter(textBox1.Text, textBox1.Text); When I am executing the program it's giving the error, syaing the value outputpath is null..

Hey. The error is saying outputpath is null and for outputpath the value is coming from installationpath. So probably installationpath is null. Also check whether you are using outputpath somewhere else and probably due to that reason it is throwing error. Thanks.

In general case when object not initialize then that next value will always be null. Step to debug: 1-Check you class library that giving result as you are expecting. 2- Check your method that you are going to expose is public/not 2- Add Library reference properly 3- Using that name space 4- Create instance of that 5- Set the value. Hope this will help.
