Paging and Filtering in VB.NET

I want to add paging and filtering on gridview on top and bottom.
I am done with bottom side but when I does the same thing for top of gridview it does not work. Gridview is not changing and also the bottom page no and filtering is not properly working.
 
Kindly help me out.
